We say something.
We take pride in it.
We think that what we've created is unique.

But in the innumerable beings that have come before us, is it not likely that there was one who the same thought and voiced it?

Are we plagiarizing or merely voicing it again in a different form, perhaps better and more relevant?

Or does it matter?

Are we not propelled to mutter it anyway, no matter other ridicule or disappointment.

It is, after all, ours.
